Daddy's Home

Tom made it home last night. Sarah was so excited to see him, at the airport she ran into his arms. It's so nice to have him home. We both missed him.

I attended Parent's Orientation Thursday night at Sarah's school. Only 4 parents were there, I was surprised but maybe we are the only ones with children attending school for the first time. Sarah's teacher has been teaching for 10 years so she has plenty of experience. She told me Sarah is a talker and has difficulty listening, not surprised but she did say that is typical at this age. She has stated that homework will start week after next and there will be a packet of material to be completed and turned in every Friday.

Sarah is having a Daugher Daddy Day. Tom took her to taekwondo and now they are out swimming. She reminded Tom this morning that it was just to be the two of them today. I guess she missed her daddy more than I realized.

I forgot to take the camera to the airport last night. I took a picture of the surprise that Tom brought back for Sarah. She had to sleep with it and today she has taken it with her in the car.

I'll post tomorrow about the conversation on the way home from the airport about Sarah's new boyfriend. Tom and I couldn't believe what Sarah was saying - she's only 5. More tomorrow.
